The Sunday New York Times, October 14, 2012, front page of the Business Section, had the lead article, "Romney's Go-To Economist" by David Segal. R. Glenn Hubbard is dean of the Columbia Business School and an adviser to candidate Mitt Romney. Dr. Hubbard appeared in the movie documentary "Inside Job," although it was not a flattering moment for him.
The article said he grew up in Apopka, Florida and graduated from the University of Central Florida (UCF) before heading to Harvard. It was nice to see my alma mater in the New York Times. Of course, UCF was also in the local news when UCF recently defeated SMU in football, 42 to 17.
